Summer Intensive Registration:

This is program is only for students that are Baptized and have already completed one year of Faith Formation classes.

*There will be a limit of 60 students in 1st-5th grade.

*There will be a limit of 40 students in 6th-7th grade.

*There will be a limit of 50 students in 8th-12th grade.

Faith Formation Registration:

This registration is for students in K-12 th  grade and Year 1 Confirmation students.

*There will be a limit of 16 students in each classroom. When a class fills, you will be given your second choice that you selected on your registration.

WHAT WE OFFER 

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Level 1
Ages 3-5 (must be potty-trained)
This is a Montessori-based and learning style of religious education. 

Class Time Choices

Sundays, 11:00am-12:15 p.m. (English and Spanish class options)
Wednesdays, 5:30-6:45 p.m. (English only)
Thursdays, 5:30-6:45 p.m. (Spanish only)

Children’s Faith Formation 
Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
First Communion Preparation begins in Grade 2 (Year 2), students mus t have completed Grade 1 (Year 1) to be eligible for Grade 2/First Communion Preparation.

Middle School & High School Faith Formation

Grades 6-12

All students must complete 2 years of classes to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Confirmation Preparation classes can begin in 7 th grade (Year 1) and continue through 8 th grade (Year 2). If student has not completed (Year 1), he/she is not eligible Year 2.

WHAT DO I NEED TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION?

1. If you are new to our parish, you will need to make sure you are registered with our parish to register for Faith Formation. If your son/daughter was in Faith Formation at another parish, we need a letter from the parish stating his/her active enrollment. 

2. You will need each child's Birth Certificate and Sacramental Certificates (Baptism and/or First Communion). *If the sacrament was received at St. James, we will still need the certificate to complete the registration. 

3. You will need your checking account/credit card/debit card to make payment
